This process yields a complex flavor profile that is smoky, spicy, and deeply savory, representing the pinnacle of island grilling techniques.

All I have to say is, "Wow!"
Flavor, serving size, and customer service were superb. I will make this a must-visit restaurant for whenever I am in the area. I had the oxtail with plantains, rice, and beans and it was an incredible experience ☺️

So last week I walked to Cravin which for me is about a 10-15 walk I ordered a small jerk chicken like I always do only for the clerk to prepare a large for me. I told them I only ordered a small but out of wanting to support their business … More

There food's good. Jerk chicken not too hot and you can taste the flavors. Their usually not open too early but there oatmeal and dumplings are worth circling back later in the morning. Pay attention and check your order because chances are it'll be wrong. The staff is very friendly but service can be slow. If you have any restrictions you may want to avoid this restaurant because they do not cater or really seem to care about food allergies. Huge, clean seating area and they have amazing homemade drinks and desserts.

So today 07/21/2025 on
my way to work I walked into Cravins and got me two spicy beef patties. I have been a regular customer for a while (UberEats & in person ) but I must say the quality of the food has definitely declined. The worst beef patty I’ve ever had. The beef was undercooked, no flavor and nothing spicy about it.
I’ve had many instances where it’s either the fried plantain was fried in whole and hard as a rock or the fried chicken tasted horrible but this is definitely the last straw. I won’t be ordering anything from this place again.

Great food but there homemade drinks and cakes. Be careful because they’re sometimes spoiled or been there for a while.

Nice restaurant.. I had rice and peas with Whiting fish it tasted ok would have tasted better if the fish wasn't over fried, it was way too tough to nyam. My aunt got the oxtail she said it was absolutely delicious. I only give honest reviews 🤷🏽♀️💜

First time I went here I had the large oxtail plate, spicy patty and the passion pineapple juice. The food was pretty good. So I went back and for whatever reason it seemed like the staff had better things to do than serving me. I waited 15 minutes on my lunch break, then when it was finally my turn to order, the attendant stopped helping me to tend to an issue her coworker was dealing with in regard to an ubereats order. I don't mind spending on good food, but I refuse to spend where I feel tolerated and not appreciated. It's all good, they won't miss my little 40 dollars a trip. But I just needed to share my experience. Blessings.

Now this is Jamaican food!! Hugs and kisses to the chef! I had rice and peas with jerk chicken and Mac on the side. The rice and peas taste like my moms. Taste like the chef bus a coconut and make fresh milk to add in the rice !! The chicken was so flavorful and delicious. The Mac was the best I’ve ever had at a Jamaican restaurant. 10/10 will always recommend. This will be my go to spot when I’m in white plains!

It’s sad you can’t support your party own people. I place an order for one fried thigh, beef Pattie and fried whiting. Order placed at 9:30am and it’s nie 11:44am and after four calls to the restaurant the fried chicken is still not ready and three hours later I still food. Just sad. I could have placed an order anywhere but choose to support my people which was a mistake! Sad part is the restaurant didn’t even care.

I googled places to eat and saw Cravin among many… I liked the look of the logo and thought i’d give it a try. There was a bit of a wait but the customer service observed was encouraging. The staff, even those that didn’t interact with me appeared courteous, friendly, and warm. The customers I think also reflected the energy of the staff. Howard took my order (obliged me with two pieces of 🌶️) I couldn’t help but asking for as it looked great on the fish and smelled 👌🏾👌🏾. I ordered a small oxtail and was quite satisfied with the portion. They had contemporary gospel music in the background which I thought was refreshing. The female staff that commented on my rocking & singing was cheerful. The owner/manager stopped by to talk and was quite pleasant and seemed like a humble person. I now have a place that I will revisit when in the area and will recommend. Consistency is important to me. May God’s grace and mercies be with you and your staff as you create indelible memories with food and positive vibrations.

I don’t know what’s been going on with this place lately, but the quality has dropped a lot. The fried plantains used to be good, but for months now every time I order, they come out mushy, soft, and spoiled-tasting instead of properly fried. It’s like they’re just throwing bad plantains in the fryer and serving them anyway. That’s not fried plantain, it’s just mush on the plate, and it’s honestly horrible.
On top of that, I always ask for oxtail gravy on my rice, and they’re so stingy with it. For the prices they charge, the least they could do is give a decent portion of gravy.
I gave this spot another chance after staying away for months, and nothing has improved. Really disappointed in how far the food quality has fallen off.
